The Sochi Grand Prix held yesterday, Sunday 11th October in Russia and Formula One, driver Lewis Hamilton emerged winner of the race.
As a fan of the sport, the president was on hand to present Hamilton with his trophy.
Vladir Putin climbed the podium, hugged Lewis and gave him his trophy but as he proceeded to leave, the happy Lewis, famous for his celebratory antics, splashed some champagne on Putin as he popped it.
