Musa officially named new Super Eagles captain; Onazi, Omeruo assistants


CSKA Moscow winger, Ahmed Musa has been officially named the new captain of the Super Eagles.

The 22-year-old takes over from Vincent Enyeama, who announced his retirement from international football on Thursday.
Musa made his debut for Nigeria in August 2010 against Madagascar.

He will be assisted by Ogenyi Onazi, while Kenneth Omeruo will act as the second assistant captain.

Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose, has been chosen as the team’s spokesman.
