DEAR CORP MEMBERS, THIS IS WHY YOUR JANUARY ALLOWANCE IS BEING DELAYED – NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have said there will be “a slight delay” in the payment of allowance for January 2016 to corp members and its management has sent out a message of apology to this effect.The Press statement released by the NYSC management on Wednesday February 3rd explains that the delay of January allowance was due to disparities in logistics and planning details for 2016 from the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, the Ministry of Finance as well as the NYSC.
Although, there have been continuous efforts to ensure the situation is addressed in order to facilitate the payment of January allowance to all corps members.

Management regrets this delay, and is therefore working round the clock to ensure that all corps members receive their January allowance between now and next week.
Please accept our very sincere apology for this delay.
