Baby in hospital for drinking Oven Cleaner

This 1-year old baby’s face was once normal untill he got in contact with oven cleaner and drank some part of it while his father was unlooking.

That act caused first degree burns to his face, lips and neck.

Little Elijah Mole didn’t know what was contained in the bottle, he was just eager for some taste and such taste he had after his face was burning up due to the presence of some acidic constituents in the liquid. He was choking and had to be rushed to the hospital in time to clear his airways.

"I’ve nearly had a break down about this all to be honest, There will always be a feeling of guilt. It was my fault. It’s really painful to see him like this, but we dread to think what could have happened. He could have died or been blinded. It could have been a real terrible tragedy."

His father, Jimmy said.

While his mother, Deane(39) feels if she hadn’t work overtime, she would have been able to keep an eye on their son.
She said:

"I worked over that day, otherwise I would have been home."

Both parents released the pictures to the public in a bid to warn parents of impending dangers in the home so they would be more cautious.

Luckily, Elijah did not swallow any part of the liquid so hopefully he would make a complete recovery soonest.
