Sokoto State Governor Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, was on Monday locked out of a meetings between President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of polio-vulnerable states and members of the High-Level Advocacy Group, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Sokoto State governor who came about 20 minutes late after President Buhari kicked off the meeting along with another governor was prevented from entering and. Participating at the meeting.
After waiting for almost an hour and was still not allowed into the meeting he left in anger.
The meeting which held at the State House centred on Nigeria’s effort at eradicating
polio and the strategies to build on its achievement of being polio-free for 12 months which was marked in July.
