Nigeria beat Niger Republic 2-0 in a friendly played in Port Harcourt, just three days after a goalless draw against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
“No doubt I’m happy because there were improvements from the game against Tanzania and the motive of this game was to correct what was noticed,” Oliseh said on SuperSport moments match.
The former national team skipper also insisted that there is still room for Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi and Lille stopper, Vincent Enyeama in his squad.
“There’s room for Mikel and the rest but so long as they all are playing regularly. All these players that featured against Niger and Tanzania were all playing for their respective teams,” Oliseh added.
On Enyeama, who missed the two games because of his mother’s death, the former Juventus and Borussia Dortmund man said: “Nobody is indispensable; it is only Nigeria that is indispensable. I played for the country and I retired, someone else took over and that’s life.”
