Oliseh names 19 home-based players for CHAN qualifiers


Sunday Oliseh has released a list of 19 home-based players, ahead of next month’s African Nations Championship final qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The squad includes Tunde Adeniji, Gbolahan Salami, Solomon Kwambe, Idris Aloma, Usman Mohammed, Ezekiel Bassey and Bature Yaro.

A 29-year-old man from Karoi district in Kenyan has reportedly been abducted and gang-raped by two women who threatened him with a snake and a gun.

The police spokesperson for the Kenya police, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Charity Charamba who confirmed the rape said efforts were on to apprehend the two women, who indecently assaulted the man after offering him a lift from Magunje Growth Point to Karoi.

An uncompleted building collapsed at Agungi-Lekki very early this morning, 22th of September. It is not known if there were people inside the building when it collapsed but a social media source at the scene said they heard workers saying they left one of their colleagues in the building and haven't seen him yet.

The abductors of the Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), who is the traditional ruler of Ilu-Abo, Chief Olu Falae has demanded a N100 million ransom for the chief release.


It would be recalled that some suspected kidnappers on Monday (today) stormed Ilu-Abo in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State and kidnapped former presidential candidate of Alliance for Democracy (AD) and All Peoples Party (APP) in 1999 elections, Chief Olu Falae.
