Doctors delivered the sad news to the young boy after he was diagnosed of protracted cancer that his case could not be helped as there had done everything within their power to save him.The young Ghanaian boy accepted his fate but asked for one thing in return – a wish to see the interior of an aircraft.
He told the nurses attending to him that his wish was to sit in an airplane before he dies, and they gladly obliged him.
He was then driven to the Kokota International Airport in an ambulance and made to sit in an aircraft where flight crew served him and attended to him as if they were actually flying. He also took photographs with them before he was eventually taken back to the hospital in the same ambulance.
